Mootori suurus Lexus GS 250, tehnilised andmed

Mida suurem on mootor, seda võimsam on auto ja reeglina on see suurem. Väikese töömahuga mootorit pole mõtet suurele autole peale panna, mootor lihtsalt ei tule oma massiga toime ja mõttetu on ka vastupidine - kergele autole panna suur mootor. Seetõttu püüavad tootjad mootorit ... auto hinnaga sobitada. Mida kallim ja prestiižsem mudel, seda suurem mootor sellel on ja seda võimsam see on. Eelarveversioonide kuupmaht on harva üle kahe liitri.

Mootori töömahtu väljendatakse kuupsentimeetrites või liitrites. Kellel on mugavam.
